I've heard of several examples of excellent Geeky April Fools jokes, but this is one of the simplest (and greatest) ones I've ever heard of.

1) Take a screenshot of that person's desktop.
2) Hide all the icons on the desktop.
3) Set the screenshot image as the new wallpaper for the computer.
